Sky High Farm, founded by Dan Colen and Daphne Seybold, is a New York based, mission-led brand, built as a means of sustaining and expanding the work of their namesake farm, a separate entity and nonprofit organization investing in long-term, collaborative pathways towards food security and food sovereignty.
Sky High Farm flips the script by prioritizing those who need the funds most: 50% of the brands profits will be donated to the farm each year: the remaining profits will be distributed next to employees, followed by investors. Additionally they created an entirely new method for modeling the systemic change they want to see in their industry: through their wholesale donation program (WDP), all of their retail partners are required to make an up-front donation to the farm before selling a single item, transforming all customers into donors of the farm. In its first 22 months, the brand has generated a donation of approx. 500.000 USD to the Farm through their WDP.
